About Institute

Tilak Education Society’s Jr. College was established in 1989 with two streams- Arts and Commerce, comprising of a few students. At present it has vastly grown with four streams – Science, Commerce(General), Commerce(Vocational) & Arts with three divisions in Science & four divisions in Commerce.

About 1400 students enjoy learning with the facilities made available by the management. The college is a self financed college, recognised by the government of Maharastra. Curriculum of Maharastra state board of higher Secondary Education is followed.

Note : Minimum 20 students should opt for a particular language / Optional subject for its acceptance.

Office Timing for the Students

On all working days the office timing for the students will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the terms of the college. However fee will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. only. During vacation, office timing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. only. The college office will remain closed on all Sundays and Public Holidays announced by the Government of India and Government of Maharashtra.

College Timings

Regular lectures for all the classes will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A few science & commerce batches will have their Science / IT practicals from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students are expected to be in the college premises at least 5 minutes before the commencement of the lecture/ practical to maintain punctuality.
